பெர்த் டெஸ்ட்: இன்னிங்ஸ் தோல்வியை தழுவியது இந்தியா

இந்திய-ஆஸ்திரேலிய அணிகளுக்கு இடையே பெர்த்தில் நடைபெற்ற மூன்றாவது டெஸ்ட் போட்டியில் இந்திய அணி ஒரு இன்னிங்ஸ் மற்றும் 37 ரன்கள் வித்தியாசத்தில் படுதோல்வி அடைந்தது. இதனால் 4 போட்டிகள் கொண்ட டெஸ்ட் தொடரை ஆஸி. அணி 3-0 என்ற கணக்கில் கைப்பற்றியுள்ளது.

டோனி தலைமையிலான இந்திய கிரிக்கெட் அணி ஆஸ்திரேலியாவில் சுற்றுப்பயணம் செய்து 4 டெஸ்ட் போட்டிகளில் விளையாடுகிறது. இதில் மெல்போர்ன் மற்றும் சிட்னியில் நடந்த 2 டெஸ்ட் போட்டிகளிலும் இந்தியா படுதோல்வி அடைந்தது. 3-வது டெஸ்ட் பெர்த்தில் நேற்று முன்தினம் தொடங்கியது.

முதல் இன்னிங்சில் இந்தியா 161 ரன்னில் சுருண்டது. அதன்பின் முதல் இன்னிங்சை தொடங்கிய ஆஸ்திரேலியா முதல் நாள் ஆட்ட நேர முடிவில் விக்கெட் இழப்பின்றி 149 ரன் எடுத்திருந்தது. வார்னர் 104 ரன்னுடனும், கோவன் 40 ரன்னுடனும் களத்தில் இருந்தனர்.

நேற்று 2வது நாள் ஆட்டம் தொடங்கியது. ஆட்டம் தொடங்கிய சிறிது நேரத்தில் கோவன் அரைசதம் அடித்தார்.   அரை சதம் அடித்த கோவன் 70 ரன்னில் ஆட்டம் இழந்தார். அதன்பின் வந்த மார்ஷ் 11 ரன்னிலும்,பாண்டிங் 7 ரன்னிலும் ஆட்டம் இழந்தனர். மூன்று விக்கெட்டுகளையும் யாதவ் வீழ்த்தினார். ஒருபுறம் விக்கெட் வீழ்ந்தாலும் மறுமுனையில் வார்னர் சிறப்பாக விளையாடி வார்னர் 150 ரன்னை கடந்தார்.   அதிரடியாக விளையாடிய வார்னர் 180 ரன் எடுத்து ஆட்டம் இழந்தார். 

வார்னரின் விக்கெட் வீழ்ந்ததும் ஆஸ்திரேலியாவின் விக்கெட்டுகள் மளமளவென சரிந்தது.   இறுதியில் ஆஸ்திரேலியா 369 ரன்கள் எடுத்து ஆல் அவுட் ஆனது. இந்திய அணி தரப்பில் அதிகபட்சமாக உமேஷ் யாதவ் 5 விக்கெட்டுகளை கைப்பற்றினார்.

208 ரன்கள் பின்தங்கிய நிலையில் இந்தியா 2வது இன்னிங்சை தொடங்கியது.  வழக்கம் போல் முன்னணி வீரர்களான காம்பீர் (14),சேவாக் (10), சச்சின் (8), லட்சுமண் (0) ஆகியோர் சொற்ப ரன்களில் ஆட்டமிழந்து ஏமாற்றமளித்தனர்.

5வது விக்கெட்டுக்கு டிராவிட்டுடன் வீராட் கோக்லி ஜோடி சேர்ந்தார். நேற்றைய இரண்டாம் நாள் ஆட்டநேர முடிவில் இந்திய அணி 4 விக்கெட் இழப்பிற்கு 88 ரன்கள் எடுத்திருந்தது. டிராவிட் 32 ரன்களுடனும், விராட் கோக்லி 21 ரன்களுடனும் களத்தில் இருந்தனர்.

இன்று மூன்றாம் நாள் ஆட்டம் துவங்கியது. இருவரும் நிதானமாக ஆடி ஸ்கோரை மெதுவாக உயர்த்தினர். இவர்களது ஆட்டம் ரசிகர்களுக்கு சிறிது நம்பிக்கையை தந்தது. விராட் கோக்லி அரை சதம் அடித்து ஆறுதல் தந்தார்.

அரை சதம் அடிப்பார் என்று எதிர்பார்க்கப்பட்ட இந்திய அணியின் சுவரான டிராவிட் 47 ரன்களில் ஆட்டமிழந்தார். அடுத்த வந்த கேப்டன் டோனி பொறுப்பே இல்லாமல் 2 ரன்னில் ஆட்டமிழந்து எரிச்சலூட்டினார்.

அடுத்து வந்த டெயிலெண்டர்களும் வந்த வேகத்தில் பெவிலியன் திரும்பி விட இந்திய அணி தனது இரண்டாவது இன்னிங்ஸில் 171 ரன்களுக்குள் சுருண்டது. இது முதல் இன்னிங்ஸ் ஸ்கோரை விட 10 ரன்கள் மட்டும் அதிகம் என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

இந்திய அணி தரப்பில் அதிகபட்சமாக கோக்லி 75 ரன்கள் எடுத்து ஆட்டமிழந்தார். ஆஸி. அணி தரப்பில் ஹில்பெனாஸ் 4 விக்கெட்டுகளை வீழ்த்தி அசத்தினார்.

அதிரடியாக ரன் குவித்த ஆஸி. அணி வீரர் டேவிட் வார்னர் இப்போட்டியின் ஆட்டநாயகனாக தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்டார்.

கோவையில் பஸ் அறிமுகமாகி 90 ஆண்டுகள் நிறைவு-நன்றி கூறுவோம் ஜிடி நாயுடுக்கு!

கோவை: தென்னிந்தியாவின் மான்செஸ்டர் என அழைக்கப்படும் கோவை மாநகரில் பேருந்து போக்குவரத்து தொடங்கி 90 ஆண்டுகள் நிறைவடைந்துள்ளன.

அரசுப் பேருந்தில் செல்லவே அச்சமடைந்துள்ள இன்றைய காலகட்டத்தில் நாடு சுதந்திரம் அடைவதற்கு முன்னதாகவே பேருந்துகளை இயக்கி அனைவரையும் அதிசயிக்கச் செய்தவர் தமிழ்நாட்டின் அறிவியல் மேதை ஜி.டி நாயுடு.

அவரது நினைவு நாள் 09-01-12  அனுசரிக்கப்பட்டது. இந்த நேரத்தில் ஜி டி நாயுடு கோவையில் முதல் முறையாக அறிமுகப்படுத்திய பஸ் குறித்த சுவாரஸ்யத் தகவல்களைத் தெரிந்து கொள்வோம்.

1921ம் வருடத்தின் இறுதியில் கோவையில் ஒரே ஒரு பேருந்து மட்டுமே இயங்கி வந்தது. கோவையிலிருந்து உடுமலைபேட்டைக்கும், பின்னர் பழனிக்கும் சென்று வந்த அந்த பேருந்தில் முப்பதுக்கும் குறைவான இருக்கைகளே இருந்துள்ளது.

பேருந்தின் மேல் தளம் இப்போது இருப்பதுபோல இல்லாமல், நான்கு ஓரங்களிலும் அமைக்கப்பட்டிருந்தன. அதில் மரத்தினால் செய்யப்பட்ட இருக்கைகள் அமைக்கப்பட்டிருந்தது. இந்த பேருந்தின் முன்னால் என்ஜின் வடிவமைக்கப்பட்டு இருந்ததால் மூக்கு வைத்த வண்டி என்று பட்டப்பெயர் வைத்து மக்கள் கூப்பிட்டு வந்துள்ளனர்.

இந்த வண்டியின் ஓட்டுனர், நடத்துனர், உதவியாளர், உரிமையாளர் என எல்லா பொறுப்புகளையும் ஏற்று நடத்தியவர் கோபால்சாமி நாயுடுவின் மகன் துரைசாமி நாயுடு என்கிற ஜி.டி.நாயுடு தான். மிகப்பெரிய விஞ்ஞானியான அவர், இந்த பேருந்தை இயக்கியதே ஒரு தனி கதை.

யுனைடெட் மோட்டார் சர்வீஸ்

It is seen that even an unripe but genuine Rudraksha may float in the water, and a non-genuine ones made out of wood impregnated with lead may sink. Therefore, before buying a Rudrakasha one should consult a reliable and an experienced person. The five-faced Rudrakasha are very commonly found and therefore are mostly the real ones. The one-faced variety of Rudrakasha found abundantly and also very expensive. Therefore cheating is done mostly in this variety. Skilled artists draw artificial mukhis on the surface of berries, betel nuts and Areca nuts and thus try to give them a real appearance. But these artificial mukhis can easily be seen by an experienced eye and thus caught. Rudraksha having 2,3,4,6,7, or 8 faces can also be found easily but its price is more than the five-faced Rudraksha's and therefore made artificially. Little experience and awareness can save people from being cheated. Generally the Rudrakasha sold in the market are real ones as they are available in abundant in the nature but the Rudrakasha that are of rare kind are prepared artificially in order to satisfy the increasing demand of people. Price of a Rudraksha bead does not affects its religious or spiritual importance or medicinal value. இன்றைய உலகில் எவ்வளவோ நவீன மருத்துவ முறைகள் இருந்தாலும், அவற்றையெல்லாம் மிஞ்சுமளவுக்கு புதுப்புது வகை நோய்களும் தோன்றிக் கொண்டுதான் இருக்கின்றன. அப்படிப்பட்ட நோய்களில் 'உயிர்க்கொல்லி நோய்'என அஞ்சப்படும் சில வகைகளில் எல்லா தரப்பு மக்களிடையேயும், வயது வித்தியாசமின்றி பரவி வருவது புற்றுநோயே! ஆரம்ப கட்ட‌த்திலேயே கண்டுபிடித்து தகுந்த சிகிச்சையை உடனுக்குடன் அளித்தால் ஓரளவுக்கு காப்பாற்றிவிடலாம் என்பது ஆறுதலான விஷயமாக இருந்தாலும், அவ்வாறு தப்பிப் பிழைத்த ஒருசிலரின் நிகழ்வுகளைத் தவிர பல பேருக்கு உயிரைப் பறித்துவிடும் அளவுக்குதான் இதன் தாக்கம் அதிகமாக உள்ள‌து. இதனால் மக்கள் மத்தியில் புற்றுநோய் பற்றிய பயம் என்றுமே மனதில் குடிகொண்டுள்ளது. மேலும் மருத்துவர்களுக்கும், ஆராய்ச்சியாளர்களுக்கும் இந்த நோய் கடுமையான ஒரு சவாலாகவும் உள்ளது. ஒரு குறிப்பிட்ட நிலைக்குப் பிறகு அதற்கு அளிக்கப்படும் சிகிச்சைகள் பயனற்று போய்விடுவதால் மருத்துவர்களால் ஒன்றும் செய்யமுடியாமல் கை விரித்து விடுகிறார்கள்.

பல‌ வகைகளில் உருவாகி மக்களை ஒருகை பார்த்துக் கொண்டிருக்கும் இந்த நோயானது இரத்தப் புற்றுநோய், தோல் புற்றுநோய், எலும்பு புற்றுநோய் என ஆரம்பித்து மனித உடம்பில் எதையும் விட்டு வைக்காமல் ஈரல், நுரையீரல், கணையம், சிறுநீரகம், மூளை, வாய்/பல் ஈறுகள், வயிறு(குடல்), ப்ரெஸ்ட், கருப்பை, கருப்பை வாய், உணவுக்குழாய், புரோஸ்டேட் என அநேக உறுப்புகளையும் தாக்குவதாக உள்ள‌து. இவற்றில் சிலவகை புற்றுநோய் முன் அறிகுறியே இல்லாமல் முற்றிவிட்ட‌ நிலையில் தாக்குவதும் உண்டு. அதனால் எந்த மருந்து புற்றுநோய்க்கென அறிமுகப்படுத்தப்பட்டாலும் அதை மனித நேயமுள்ள அனைவரும் உடனுக்குடன் பகிர்ந்துக் கொண்டு மக்களிடம் விழிப்புணர்வு ஏற்படுத்துவது இன்றைய காலக்கட்டத்தில் மிக அவசியமான ஒன்றாகும்.

சகோதர நாடான இலங்கையிலும் மற்றும் வியட்நாம், கம்போடியா, பிரேசில், போர்த்துகல் போன்ற நாடுகளில் பழங்களோடு பழமாக சாதாரண உபயோகத்தில் மட்டுமே உள்ளது. மலேஷியா, இந்தோனேஷியா போன்ற நாடுகளில் தெரு வியாபாரிகள்கூட பழ ஜூஸ், ஷர்பத், மில்க் ஷேக் போன்றவை தயாரிக்க சர்வ சாதாரணமாக இந்தப் பழத்தை பயன்படுத்துகிறார்கள். மெக்ஸிகோவில் ஐஸ்கிரீம் வகைகளிலும், ஃப்ரூட் ஜூஸ் பார்லர்களிலும் அதன் சுவைக்காக மிகவும் பிரபலமான‌ பழமாக பயன்படுத்தப்படுகிறது. ஏன், நம் நாட்டில்கேரளாவிலும் "ஆத்தா சக்கா" (aatha chakka) என்ற பெயரில் மக்களின் பயன்பாட்டில் உள்ளது. ஆனால் பெரும்பாலான மக்கள் அதன் பலன் தெரிந்து பயன்படுத்துவதாக தெரியவில்லை. (பலாப்பழத்திற்கு மலையாளத்தில் chakka என்பார்கள். பலாப்பழத்தைப் போன்ற முட்களும், ஆத்தாப்பழத்தைப் பழத்தைப் போன்ற தோற்றமும் கொண்டதாலோ என்னவோ 'பலா ஆத்தா' என்ற அர்த்தம் கொண்ட பெயர் இங்கு அழைக்கப்படுகிற‌து)

இதன் மரம் Graviola Tree என்று அழைக்கப்படுகிறது. பழத்தின் மேற்புறத்தில் பலாப்பழத்தைப் போன்று, ஆனால் சற்று அதிகமான இடைவெளியில் முட்கள் இருக்கும். இவை சாதாரண ஆத்தாப் பழத்தின் அளவுகளிலும், அதிக பட்சம் 20-30 செ.மீ. வரை நீளத்திலும், 2.5 கிலோ எடை வரையிலும் விளைகிறது.

அதிகமான ஊட்டச்சத்துக்களைக் கொண்ட இந்தப் பழத்தில் கார்போஹைட்ரேட், பிரக்டோஸ் மற்றும் கணிசமான அளவில் வைட்டமின் C, வைட்டமின் B1, வைட்டமின் B2 போன்ற சத்துக்களும் நிறைந்துள்ளன. அதன் இலைகளும், விதைகளும் வெவ்வேறு மருத்துவ உபயோகத்திற்கு பயன்படுத்தப்பட்டுக் கொண்டுள்ளன. காலை நேரங்களில் பூக்கும் இதன் வெளிர்மஞ்சள் நிறப் பூவானது அருமையான‌ வாசனையுடையதாக இருக்கும்.

இந்தப் பழத்தை சாதாரண ஆத்தாப்பழம் போன்று அப்படியே சாப்பிடலாம். அல்லது நம் ரசனைக்கேற்றபடி மில்க்க்ஷேக், ஷர்பத், டெஸெர்ட், ஐஸ்க்ரீம் என எப்படி வேண்டுமானாலும் தயார்பண்ணியும் சாப்பிடலாம்.

நம் வீடுகளில் போதுமான அளவு தோட்டமிருந்தால் போதும், நாமும் விதைக்கலாம். சிறிய கன்றுகளாக வாங்கியும் நடலாம். அதன் விதைகள்:

இலைகளின் பலன்கள்:

* ஜுரம் வந்தவர்கள் தூங்கச் செல்லும்போது படுக்கைக்கு கீழே அதன் இலைகளை வைத்து, அதன்மேல் மெல்லிய காட்டன் துணியை விரித்து படுத்தால் காய்ச்சலின் தீவிரத்தை பெருமளவில் குறைக்கிறது.

* தூக்கமின்மையால் சிரமப்படுபவர்களுக்கு அதன் இலைகளை சுத்தப்படுத்தி, நீரில் போட்டு கொதிக்கவைத்து (கஷாயமாக) தொடர்ந்து கொடுத்தால் அமைதியான உறக்கத்தைத் தரவல்லது.

* இலையின் சாறு வயிறு சம்பந்தப்பட்ட வியாதிகளுக்கும், வயிற்றுப் புழுக்களை அழிக்கவும் பயன்படுத்தப்படுகின்றன.

* தட்டம்மை ஏற்பட்டவர்களுக்கும், குழந்தைகளுக்கு ஏற்படும்மணல் வாரி அம்மை (அல்லது விளையாட்டு அம்மை)க்கும் இதன் இலைகளை தண்ணீரில் போட்டு கொதிக்க வைத்து, இதமான சூட்டிற்கு ஆறியவுடன் அந்த இலைகளைக் கொண்டே மெதுவாக உடம்பில் தேய்த்து, உடம்பு முழுவதும் அந்த தண்ணீர் படுமளவுக்கு கொஞ்சம் கொஞ்சமாக‌‌ ஊற்றிக் குளிக்க வைக்கவேண்டும். இவ்வாறு செய்வதால் மிக விரைவில் குணம் ஏற்படும்.
